New Energy Capital Ventures Team Members, 2022

We’re excited to kick off 2022 with fantastic additions across Energy Capital Ventures.  It’s great to have this incredible level of talent with us to solve the ESG imperatives and enable the digital transformation of the natural gas industry.

As MBA Interns we welcome Nate Johnson, Mary Shouse and Mark Yingling.  Each of them will play a key role over the next several months as we devote resources to decarbonization, climatetech, methane, hydrogen, ESG accounting and advocating for natural gas.  Nate’s background in consulting and climate; Mary’s experience in the gas industry and Mark’s financial services career bring valuable assets to our efforts.

Moreover, Nilou Sarvain, PhD candidate at Northwestern University, joins us a PhD Scientific Advisor.  Nilou’s passion and scientific acumen of earth and planetary sciences as well as climatetech will be critical as we evaluate opportunities in the sector.  Coupled with her experience at the EPA, Nilou will be a dramatic benefit for our investors, portfolio companies and partners.

Finally, Gary Gardner, former American Gas Association (AGA) Vice President of Corporate Affairs and Corporate Secretary joins our Board of Strategic Advisors.  Gary’s 30+ years of industry leadership further validates the importance of Energy Capital Ventures and our mission to be the innovation platform for the natural gas industry.  Additionally, Gary’s extensive career in the natural gas industry will provide key insights and immense value to our entire network.

Welcome Nate, Mary, Mark, Nilou and Gary ! ! !
